Registration Schedule
egistration period for the AFNS ‘N’ Cadet program is from 23rd September to 11th October 2024. Ensure that you have all your documents ready before starting the registration process to avoid any last-minute hassle.
After completing the registration, candidates will go through preliminary tests which are scheduled from 17th to 25th October 2024. These tests are the first step in evaluating your eligibility to join the Armed Forces Nursing Service.
Who Can Apply?
The AFNS ‘N’ Cadet program is open to female students who are in their 4th year of BSc Nursing (Generic) from a College of Nursing recognized by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PN&MC) in Islamabad.
In addition to academic qualifications, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Nationality: Must be a Citizen of Pakistan, including domicile holders from Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. If selected, candidates with dual nationality will need to surrender any nationality other than Pakistani.
Physical Standards
To ensure that candidates are physically capable of meeting the demands of military service, the Pakistan Army has outlined specific physical standards:
- Minimum Height: 5 ft or 152.4 cm
- Weight: As per the Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Age: Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years as of 31st December 2024.
