Educational and Professional Requirements

To qualify for these positions, candidates must meet specific educational and professional experience criteria. NADRA is looking for individuals who have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information/Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification from a HEC-recognized university. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred for most positions.

In addition to academic qualifications, candidates must possess significant hands-on experience, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity, database security, and risk management. Here is a breakdown of the required professional experience for key positions:

• Director – Security Operations Center (SOC):
  10-12 years of experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in SOAR, SIEM, and digital forensics.
  Role includes managing and improving security functions.
• Deputy Director – Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT):
  8-10 years of experience in vulnerability management and offensive security.
  Expertise in standards like OWASP, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53 is required.
• Deputy Director – Database Security:
  8-10 years of experience in database security and analytics.
  Skills in IBM Guardium, database activity monitoring, and database protection tools are essential.
• Assistant Directors:
  1-5 years of relevant experience in SOC operations, EDR integration, or database security depending on the position.
  Experience with tools like Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, and knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is highly desirable.

Job Location and Conditions

All positions are based in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. Selected candidates will initially be hired on a 5-year contract, which may be extended based on performance.
